$ Dashboard and "Investing" do not agree

The Dashboard "total value $" do not match the total of "investing $" in the left hand bar, by 14%. The "Value over Time" quadrant agrees with "Investing $". The "Portfolio by Security" quadrant does not agree with either. "Todays Change" does not agree with the net gain for the portfolio. The Value over Time totals in not in agreement with the bar charts. The pull downs are set for all securities and all accounts. I tried looking for a settings for this page, but cannot find one.

I am confused by all this.

    Hello @Jea,

Thanks for reaching out! The balance displayed for your connected Investment Accounts in the Accounts List is provided by your Financial Institution(s). In contrast, the balance displayed in the Investments tab is based on the market value of your holdings with the latest pricing information.

This information may differ depending on when the connected accounts were last refreshed, as well as when your financial institution(s) receive their updated share prices. I understand that point. This does not explain the $600k difference values.

    Hello @Jea,

Thanks for the reply. If you can provide screenshots showing the issue and differences this would better help us get a grasp on your situation. Feel free to redact any personal information.

Additionally, by 'Dashboard", do you mean the total available in the Accounts List? Or the Investing Dashboard tile? Let us know!

The Total Value, in the upper left quadrant, which lists individual securities and market values, does not agree with the totals in the Portfolio by Security in the upper right quadrant. The difference in values is 14%.

The Portfolio by Security value agrees with current portfolio value.

The 14% error is not explained by day to day updates and how Simplifi functions.

    Hello @Jea,

Do you mean the Market Value when you state Total Value? I would still suggest providing screenshots showing the discrepancies so that we are able to verify what is happening here.

    Thanks,

    Coach Jon
