Oriental Bank (Puerto Rico) link not working

Several weeks ago, my Oriental Bank account stopped updating in Simplify. When I accessed the bank portal directly, I noticed Oriental Bank Puerto Rico updated its website and change its address from https://www.orientalonline.com to https://consumer.orientalbank.online-banking-services.com/D1OFGConsumer/#/Login ,when searching for the bank through the "Add account" option, I noticed that there are 4 options to access Oriental Bank, none of them work because they are the old link. Could you please update it so we can access the bank again?

    Hello @Anthony Vega,

Thank you for letting us know about this issue. When I check on our end, I saw you got a FDP-107 error when attempting to connect to Oriental Bank and Trust, and got a FDP-103 error when attempting to connect to Oriental Financial Services. Are those the same errors you saw on your end when you attempted to connect?

While it is quite possibly being caused by the recent change to the financial institution's URL, have you done any other troubleshooting? If you haven't already done so, please follow these steps:

    1. Verify that you are putting the password in correctly. You can use the eye icon near the right side of the password field to make the characters visible and check for any typographical errors.
    2. Verify that you can log into the financial institution website using those same credentials. This confirms that the credentials work and that the account hasn't been locked out from too many failed connection attempts.
    3. If you use any of these special characters & < > / \., please try changing your password to one that does not use those characters, and test to see if the issue is resolved.

I look forward to your response!

    Hi @Coach Kristina

Yes, when I try to log in to Oriental Bank and Trust and Oriental Financial Services I get the same errors (as you can see in the attached images). Also, I verified that the username and password were correct, I try to logged in from https://consumer.orientalbank.online-banking-services.com/D1OFGConsumer/#/Login and I was able to access.

    I also tried other credentials that I have, since Oriental Bank has 3 different portals ( https://consumer.orientalbank.online-banking-services.com/D1OFGConsumer/#/Login , https://servicio.orientalbank.com/ and https://smartpay.profitstars.com/expressbd/OrientalPR?returnUrl=https%3A%2F%2Fsmartpay.profitstars.com%3A443%2Fexpressbd%2FOrientalPR%2FBillerDirect%2FIndex ) Yes, it's a bit of a mess.

https://consumer.orientalbank.online-banking-services.com/D1OFGConsumer/#/Login - This is the most recent version, in which you can access bank accounts, credit cards and loans.

https://servicio.orientalbank.com/ - This version does basically the same thing as the previous one, but I understand that this is not the version that Simplify uses, since the credentials for this one are the social security number and date of birth.

https://smartpay.profitstars.com/expressbd/OrientalPR?returnUrl=https%3A%2F%2Fsmartpay.profitstars.com%3A443%2Fexpressbd%2FOrientalPR%2FBillerDirect%2FIndex - This version is only for paying credit cards and loans, other than that you cannot view accounts. This one also uses different credentials than the other two pages. I tried to access with the credentials of this page in Simplifi but it didn't work either.

I understand that the Oriental Bank portal that Simplifi is trying to access is https://consumer.orientalbank.online-banking-services.com/D1OFGConsumer/#/Login , because as I recall, when I first logged into Oriental Bank on Simplify, I used the credentials of what was the old Oriental Bank portal which has now been upgraded to https://consumer.orientalbank.online-banking-services.com/D1OFGConsumer/#/Login

    Hello @Anthony Vega,

I am also seeing the FDP-103 error for you from our side. If you can provide the following information this would be helpful in determining a solution:

    1. Have there been recent changes in your banking website? If there are changes, what are those?
    2. What is the exact URL you use to log in to your account (login URL)?
    3. What type of accounts are you adding (banking, investment, debt, etc.)?
    4. Please provide a screenshot of the bank account summary page that includes the URL. You’re welcome to remove or obscure any personal information.
    5. Document the FORMAT of your password (NEVER the actual password!). For example, the password of "Quicken123$" would be "Xxxxxxx###$." Document the specific special character(s) in your password (NOT the customer's actual password!). We recommend to NOT use the following special characters & < > / \.

    Thanks,

    Coach Jon

    Hello!
Here are the answers to the questions:

    1. Yes, web address and the page itself changed. There is also a new bank app.
    2. The new URL of Oriental Bank that I use to log in to my account is: https://consumer.orientalbank.online-banking-services.com/D1OFGConsumer/#/Main .
    3. For now, I only have a vehicle loan in my Oriental Bank account.
    4. Screenshots are available below.
    5. Password Format: xxxx####

    Hello @Anthony Vega,

Thanks for your patience, I am back with an update from our service provider. They want you to try the Oriental Bank Consumer instance when connecting to this bank in Quicken Simplifi. Let us know if this works for you!

    Hello!
Adding the account through Oriental Bank Consumer worked. However, I noticed that the account shows $0 when I view it in the accounts section. (Note: The other account you see is the manual account I created so I could continue viewing the loan while the bank issue was being resolved.) I tried to manually refresh the accounts but it still says $0.

Welcome!
