Missing deposit

My tax refund landed in my account on March 4th, and was showing up in my income until today. Now that its not showing up, spending plan is a mess. Where did that deposit go? How do I get it to show up again?

Hi,
Is it still in your transactions for your checking account? Have you tried signing out of Simplifi and signing back in? Did you check to see if it's visible on the phone app? If you are using the web browser, you can try incognito mode or another browser.
If it has disappeared and you know you got it, you can add it back as a manual deposit into your account, and then it should show up.
The important thing is if it is in your account, you have it and it's just a matter of making Simplifi show it.
I suppose you could check at your bank site to make sure they still show the deposit; I cannot imagine that the IRS pulled it back. That seems quite unlikely.

When you click here on mobile, are you able to find the transaction? This button opens up a register showing ALL banking transactions regardless of account. Did the entire transaction vanish?
Or, did it vanish from the Spending Plan or just one of the dashboard widgets? A little more context would help us help you.

It completely vanished from transactions, the spending plan, income, everything.

I crossed checked with my bank, and the IRS did not take it back.

I don't use the mobile ap. Closing out the program and signing back in did not fix it. The issue is still there when I use an incognito window.

Ahh, I've never had a transaction completely vanish in Simplifi. I have had transactions "vanish" after I accidentally deleted them or changed the amount, but never truly vanish vanish.
Good that the IRS didn't repo it!
My immediate thoughts regarding your next steps would be:
- Reply to this post with the bank name in case someone else banks with them and has some advice.
- At the "Banking" level (earlier screenshot), search by amount.
- At the "Banking" level, try filtering by what you think the Category is.
- At the "Banking" level, try filtering by what you think the Payee is.
- Find a bank statement and reconcile against it to see if JUST that one transaction is missing or if a block of transactions is missing.
- Based on what you find there, manually enter the missing transaction(s) back into Simplifi.
Sorry, I don't have better advice at the moment.

Thank you. I added the deposit manually, just so I don't have to keep seeing all of the red/overrun categories. And as best as I can tell, this is the only transaction that disappeared. It's all very strange, because the account balance shown by simplifi is pretty close to the account balance shown by my bank, so I do think that the information is being transferred from one spot to the other correctly.
