Charles Schwab downloaded creating many $0 transactions

Beginning yesterday (4/2/25), my Charles Schwab Bank checking has shown numerous transactions with a $0 amount that appear to be related to my expected recurring bills. They seem to be the recurring bills that have not yet shown up in my Schwab account, but that the bill date (in Simplifi) is today or before.

Is this a new feature or a bug? I am an "early release" user. Thanks

Today I see a string of 5 transactions into, and out of, my checking account, all with listed amounts of $0.00. My bank reports all of these transactions (they are real) with correct amounts. How does that happen?

Adding to the weirdness: Simplifi still manages to have the balance correct for that account — despite the incorrectly calculated transactions. Does Simplifi not make sure the transactions add up to the correct balance?

    Hello @barncrow,

Thanks for reaching out! To better assist us, can you let us know what the specific bank you are seeing this problem with in Quicken Simplifi is?

As for your second inquiry, Quicken Simplifi is designed to download the account balance and stay in sync with the bank itself. With connected accounts, Quicken Simplifi will calculate the account balance by deducting any pending transactions downloaded from the current bank balance, while manual accounts rely on the entered transactions to determine the balance.

@Coach Jon as I cannot comment on the known issue, I want to add that our Schwab account synced this afternoon and as far as we can tell, all transactions from that account were replaced with $0.00 amounts. We're going to have to rebuild our entire account (billers, subscriptions, transactions that were previously split, etc.) unless Quicken has a backup of our data in your system.

I am also having all my transactions coming in as 0.00 from my Schwab account. It is certainly a mess that I will have to sort through. Please advise.

Are we receiving credits/refunds for the days that the paid service does not work?
