I have a Lowe's credit card payment set up as a recurring transfer series for $0. We don't have a balance on that account every month, but I want the reminder to prompt me to pay it when we do. Also, with the new bill connect, I want the balance to show up in the cash flow once the statement cuts if there is a balance.
I noticed recently that when opening the series from one of the linked transactions that no history was showing. I originally tried unlinking transactions and relinking with no change. I just deleted the series and recreated it since there were only a handful of transactions linked so far and the history was still not showing after linking transactions. My two theories were that it was related to either being $0 or the bill connect feature. Since my other bill connect ones look right, I tested the $0 theory by changing the series to $0.01, and voila, the history appeared instantly.
I have a couple of recurring expenses also set at $0 and those show history correctly, so this appears to be isolated to recurring transfers for $0.
