The Net Worth report does not dynamically update the market value of manually added Other Investment accounts that hold publicly traded stock. The value for these holdings remains static, reflecting the market price on the day the transaction was initially entered. This leads to an inaccurate total net worth calculation.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Navigate to Accounts and select the option to add a new manual account.
- Set the account type to "Other Investment."
- Manually add a holding for a publicly traded company (in my case, RSUs), including a ticker symbol and the number of shares.
- Save the account and navigate to the Net Worth report. Note the value of this new holding and the total net worth.
- After the next trading day, when the stock's market price has changed, view the Net Worth report again.
Expected Result:
The value of the manually added stock holding should update to reflect the new, current market price. The total Net Worth figure should adjust accordingly.
Actual Result:
The value of the manually added stock holding remains unchanged from its initial value on the date of entry. The total Net Worth report is therefore inaccurate.
