When I create a transfer transaction to record a loan payment against a liability account, I cannot apply a tag to only the transaction in the checking account. It automatically applies the tag to the loan account transaction as well. If I delete the tag from the loan account transaction, it also deletes the tag from the checking account transaction. This is an issue because I have a watch list to summarize all transactions with a “debt service” tag to track the total amount of my monthly debt payments, but it’s including both the checking account and loan account transactions in the total which makes it double the amount it should be. Simplifi should be updated to not automatically apply and delete tags on both sides of a transfer transaction.
