Simplifi Insists that my Checking Account is a Brokerage... Workaround? (edited)
I purchased Simplifi today to manage my retirement spending. Unfortunately Simplifi insists that my only checking account (Morgan Stanley Platinum) is a "Brokerage" account. Of course, this makes it impossible to track the expenses. Has anyone found a work-around, or should I call and get a refund?

Hello @AndyB,
Thanks for reaching out! It may be that your bank is sending the account over as an Investment account type. If that is the case, then we will not be able to change it, unfortunately. We do have an idea post for this topic, however, that you may be interested in voting for and following for updates!
I am sorry I do not have a better answer.

Thanks for the info Coach Jon. Since Simplifi as-is is completely useless, I have applied for a refund.
