Add Notes Field To Upcoming Transactions

Yes, please. I think upcoming transactions should have the same functionality as past ones, including the ability to add notes and tags.3

It looks like this request should probably be merged with Notes/Memo field on recurring transaction setup (1 Merged Vote) (simplifimoney.com)-1

I would like this for any reminder, not just recurring transactions1

I am not even able to flag a single reminder which would have served as a workaround for the Notes field for now. Adding that would be nice too.

It would be really cool if we could make a brief comment somewhere on each spending plan transaction. For example, I have a credit card payment due on the 9th, I scheduled it for the 3rd, but don't know when the transaction will actually clear the bank. It would be nice to write a little note to myself saying "Scheduled for payment" or something along those lines so I know not to pay it again.

A feature request for this is already active, vote for it here.

I agree! My primary use case for this is Credit Card payment reminders. My recurring reminders are "Transfers" since they are credit card payments. When I log on to my credit card site, they provide a confirmation number after I manually enter payment. I would like to tie that specific confirmation number to an individual reminder. I need a notes field.

Currently I can only see the contents of the Note field once a transaction has been posted as Transaction Activity. Until then, the only way I can see the details of the transaction at all is in the Projected Cash Flow area, and when I click on a transaction there, it hides the Note field (and a couple other things, too, such as Check #).
I sometimes make important notes in that field to help me plan, or a reminder that once a transaction is posted, I need to do something else. Or I may record a confirmation number to show me that the transaction has already been scheduled with the bank, such as a transfer from checking to savings, or I've scheduled a bill payment.
Without the ability to see the contents of the Note field, I can't see whether this transaction is something I am anticipating doing, or I've already ordered, a VERY significant difference. That can result in my inadvertently double-ordering a bank transfer or bill pay, for example.
It would be a very simple fix for your programmer: just show the rest of the record for projected transactions the exact same way you do for completed ones. There is nothing gained by hiding those fields. If they're empty, so be it, but pixels are free and they sometimes contain valuable information.
The only workaround I've figured out is to change the date of the future transaction to today so it shows up in the account's Transaction Activity. Then I can see the previously hidden Note field. Then I have to change the date back (assuming I remember!) That's a very clunky workaround for something i shouldn't have to workaround in the first place! Why hide these fields for future transactions? Just display all the fields, regardless of whether they're future or past.
I can't imagine this being at all difficult to implement and it will help with planning and avoiding potentially serious mistakes, like double-paying a bill, resulting in overdrawing an account. Thank you.
