Investments: Add additional decimal points for fractional shares (edited)
Using the current version of the iOS app, in the investments section. I have several manually-added holdings (held in accounts I’ve not been able to sync with Simplifi). All of those holding have partial shares, but the only issue is when I have less than 1/10th of a share ima given holding. One might say that is a ridiculous thing to own, but Stash Invest is what it is…
This was previously allowed, so I have holdings with .008 shares, etc. However, to edit those (or add new ones), if I delete enough digits to reach zero dot zeroes (i.e., 0.0, 0.00, 0.000) then I can’t enter a value less than .1
For example, I have increased on holding from .0008 to .00096 shares. I can either add 9s (.0008999) to get closer to my actual number or set my value up to .1 … or remove the holding entirely, out of frustration.
It seems to work to add partials above 0.1, but hitting a zero value pops the decimal and all trailing zeroes off the quantity.
Thanks for looking into this

Hello @jwphillips,
Thanks for reaching out! I went ahead and converted your post into an idea post, as I believe other users may be interested in voting for an idea like this. If you have any other ideas that are not already created, feel free to create an idea post yourself!

Yes, it's strange to have such small amounts of shares, but agree that we ought to be able to add any amount. I added my vote. Thanks for pointing this out.
