Incorrect Manual Account Balance
What’s the status with this issue. I can not trust the balance that it shows me which is making me overdraft.

Does this happen to you a lot? I know it happens because I've experienced it too, but Simplifi usually resolves it within a few hours though I've seen it persist a bit longer.
I've found (though haven't documented) that it seems to happen more if I have a future dated transaction or if I have a transfer to/from a connected account and somehow when the connected side clears, it confuses Simplifi in the manual account and it will double count it for a while.
My workarounds have been to link transfers after they clear both sides and just use the generic transfer or Credit Card Payment at first. Instead of future dated transactions, I make a one-time recurring.
Here's a feature request to which you will want to add your vote if you haven't already:

@Israel, thanks for posting your inquiry to the Community!
I'm assuming you're referring to this issue:
If so, your balance should automatically correct overnight. Is this not the case for you?
I can also confirm that our product team is working on an enhancement that will allow users to force a re-sync of manual account balances. This will make the function that fixes balances overnight run on demand for an immediate correction.
Please let us know so we can best assist!

That is great news. I hadn't noticed that!

FWIW, I added a new transaction to a manual account this morning and the balance immediately updated — it did not wait to be corrected overnight.
I'm not sure what events trigger recalculation, but adding a transaction did.

Today December 23 it happened again with a future transaction, I had to change the date because it didn’t appeared in my bank account but in Quicken Simplifi the amount is added to the total which means that I have more money in Quicken than what I have in my bank account. Looks like this issue has been causing problems since last year (September, 2025).
I’m about to travel for the holidays, I need to keep my money in accurate shape and not over draft. Is very frustrating.

@Israel, thanks for the reply!
To clarify, when entering a future-dated transaction in Quicken Simplifi, the transaction becomes a reminder, meaning it is part of the "upcoming" model. Only transactions in the account register itself will impact the balance. The future-dated transaction won't impact things until the day of; however, you will see it in Projected Cash Flow as a future balance.
I think at this juncture, we will need specific examples and screenshots from you to get a clear picture of what you're seeing. We look forward to hearing back from you!

I just realized that there is a re-sync button that will give me the real balance and move forward. I don’t know if that button was already there but thanks for that.
