No connection to multiple banks (edited)
Not able to connect:
Talsma/TD Banks
Synchrony Banks/JC Penney
Maurices CC
Is this a user issue, Quicken issue? Would be nice to get answers on which institutions can be connected and which can't, instead of left wondering.

Hello @ruthanneclarkjcp,
Thank you for reaching out! To help troubleshoot, I checked our internal tools to see what errors you're encountering. I wasn't able to see any connection attempts with TD Bank or Maurices CC. What happens when you try to connect?
I'm not seeing any obvious connection option for Talsma; what connection option have you been attempting to use? What happens when you try to connect using that option?
For Synchrony Bank and JC Penny, I can see you were getting a FDP-103 (invalid credentials) error. To troubleshoot that, please follow these steps:
- Verify that you are using the correct connection option in Quicken Simplifi
- For example, Synchrony services many credit cards. A Carecredit card would not be able to connect using Synchrony Bank, but there is a Carecredit connection option which should work.
- Enable the “Show Password” option to confirm that there are no typographical errors.
- If you’re using a password manager, suggest try manually typing it in instead, in case the saved password is outdated.
- Depending on how many times the you have tried to add your accounts, you may have locked yourself out.
- Because of this, please verify that you can sign into the bank’s website using the exact same credentials.
- Update your credentials – Try temporarily updating your password at the bank's website and then try again to connect in Quicken Simplifi. We recommend NOT using the following special characters: & < > / \.
I look forward to your response!

My apologies - I didn't try Maurice's because I hadn't succeeded with Penney's or Talsma and I don't think I tried it because it's not connected in Classic.
Maurice's did connect, so I'm all set here.
Talsma - I've tried TD.Com>bank online, bank credit card. is the online site I use.
For JC Penney I'm using the synchronybank.com connection in QS. I don't see anything that looks appropriate under Carecredit Card. I entered username and pw manually - the same as I use to get into and didn't work. I did sign into this site with no problem. I'd rather not change password. Please confirm that's my only next step.

Thank you for your reply,
I'm glad to hear you were able to connect Maurice's!
If TD Bank supports the ability to connect Talsma cards in Quicken Simplifi, you might be able to connect the Talsma card using the My Online Account connection option. It's not an exact match for the URL that you provided, but it is the only connection option I'm seeing that connects using mytdfinancing.com.
Updating your credentials is an important troubleshooting step. Sometimes the problem is caused by something about the password you're using.
I hope this helps!

I got JCP connected.
Still not able to get Talsma card connected using MyOnlineAccount. Changed PW and tried again and tried TD.com again.
Thanks

Hello @ruthanneclarkjcp,
Thanks for letting us know! Can you let us know what error you are receiving when trying to connect with your Talsma card in Quicken Simplifi? Can you provide a screenshot? I am not seeing anything from my side. This may be a case of a financial institution not being supported as of yet in Quicken Simplifi. Let us know!

Hello @ruthanneclarkjcp,
Thanks for the reply. I am not sure the instance you are attempting to use can be used for the Talsma card you are trying to connect in Quicken Simplifi. In this case, I would suggest creating a missing financial institution post so that you and other users can vote for and follow the post for updates on adding that financial institution.
