Marking a recurring reminder as paid should put the transaction in "cleared" status (edited)

LOVE the ability to manually create transactions out of reminders. On my end it creates the transaction but puts it in "Pending" status. In my opinion, since the end-user is knowingly, manually creating this transaction, it would be better to automatically put it into "Cleared" status when the transaction is created, so that the user didn't have to go into the transaction and manually clear it.

Great idea! With manual accounts Cleared is best but for connected accounts I would prefer Pending so that I'll know to check if it actually happens (ie: downloads).

I also wish that it would open the New Transaction window, prefilled, so I can quickly look it over and change whatever I may want before clicking to create the transaction. I know it's one extra click but it seems that most of the time I end up going looking for the newly created transaction to edit something or other, and if there are a lot of pending transactions dated today or in the past, it can take a little while to find since it's usually not placed at the top of the list.

As @EL1234 points out, it needs to be marked cleared for manual accounts, but for connected accounts, it needs to stay pending until the bank clears them. In fact, this feature was requested especially for the convenience of automatic payments in manual accounts.

    Otherwise, I like the idea.

I disagree that it should be the default. I use it when I submit a payment that I know won't clear for a few days, but I want to remember that I have paid it. It moves to cleared once it actually does clear. However, having said that, I think it would be nice to add the ability to choose which status it goes under for those who need/want to do it differently. Maybe it could be a setting for each account?
