Several suggestions.
Since I only/mostly look at cash flow for one account at a time, I've found the quickest way to get there is just to select one account in the Transaction list area. Then you can see the cash flow above the transaction list (you may need to click the little arrow to expand it).
I would love to have #4 and with a search bar as well! Sometimes when I'm reviewing things and looking ahead, scrolling through the carousel can get pretty clumsy.
Edit: if there was a quicker way to get to the cashflow for 2-3 specific accounts that I want to see, there's a chance that I'd look at their cash flow together. But the way it is now it's easier for me to click from one to the other.

In this case, however, it appears we already have requests for some of the items you mentioned. This one covers numbers 2 and 3, as other users discuss not wanting assets included by default, and being able to have the account selections saved would solve this:
