Purple Flag Color Changed to Light Blue (edited)

I just logged in this morning, and all my purple flags have been changed to light blue. This is not a flag color that I use. I use purple for transactions to be reconciled a green to identify reconciled transactions. As of last night, all the purple flags were in place. Others might want to check their flag colors as well. Also, no image can be provided as there are account numbers being shown.

UPDATE: The reason as it appears, is the colors were reversed and thus now the color flag and the color words are not matching.

I’m seeing this issue too, and not just with violet and blue. Other flag colors appear to be affected as well.

I rely heavily on flag colors for filtering, distinguishing, and organizing transactions. This change is a serious problem for my workflow, is anyone else experiencing this?

As Dick_Davis described, the violet and blue flag labels/colors appear to have swapped. In addition, some flags now display a color that doesn’t match the label, and at least one color appears to have been renamed incorrectly.

For example, what used to be “Cyan” is now called “Brown,” but it displays as orange.

Today I planned to get work done, but instead I mis-flagged several transactions, spent time undoing that work, and then spent more time documenting the issue here.

For years, the Simplifi flag colors I’ve used were
Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Violet, Cyan, Black, and None:

And now here are the flag colors after the change:
Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Violet, Brown, Black, and None
—now Blue appears as the Violet color, and Violet appears as Cyan color used to. The label "Cyan" is no longer listed. It now is labeled “Brown,” but the displayed color actually looks orange:

This also creates a serious practical problem because three colors (Red, Orange and Brown) are now very close in appearance: Brown/Cyan, Orange, and Red.

Here's an example of in the image below of what I mean- three flag colors: Orange, Red, and what should be Cyan, though it’s currently labeled Brown:

Is it hard to tell that these are three distinct flag colors, or is that just me?

Adding yellow seems to make already similar flag colors even harder to tell apart:

At a glance, my brain registers only about two colors. There are actually 4 different flag colors in the screenshot. Is that just me?

This has left me feeling pretty hobbled and frustrated.

Can Simplifi please confirm whether this is a bug, and how soon it may be fixed?

Better yet, please restore the previous flag colors while working on the underlying bug/issue, so users can keep working instead of spending time troubleshooting this with you.

please bring back Cyan 🤞

The new Brown label/color is not working. It blends too closely with orange, Red, and yellow… makes the flags harder to distinguish.

Cyan was much more visually distinct and functionally useful

In Web Version 6.18.0, The color of the flags to match the name has not been corrected. Please correct in the next release.

On my monitor, most of the colors are correct. The exceptions are:

The flag labeled "Violet" is actually cyan.

The flag labeled "Brown" is more orange than brown. To my eye, it's sort of an orange-tan.

(not to be confused with "orangutan," which is something completely different.)

Same problem here. Please fix, or give us a way to modify the sequence.

The only saving grace is that all transactions with the previous cyan color still show as the next from the bottom of the list - just as they did previously. Same 'position', different color.

Quicken Simplifi Web and Mobile 6.20.0 has now been released, and it looks like this issue has been resolved! I can confirm that the flag colors now properly reflect their names.
