Date range on reports worse than before
Hello.
On March 28 and earlier, the way Simplifi handled long date ranges in bar-graph reports used to be somewhat acceptable. If you zoomed out, you could see around 3 years of bars without month-label overlaps.
Sometime between March 28 and April 23, there was a big improvement. On April 23, Simplifi showed whatever range you wanted, angled the month labels, and intelligently skipped some month labels if there wasn't enough room—but it showed all the bars you wanted, which is important.
Today, May 10, I noticed that you can only see 2.5 years of bars at a time. You need to scroll to see other bars. In other words, you can see fewer bars now than you could on March 28 and earlier.
All months referred to here are in 2026. All Simplifi versions referred to here are complete Web releases, not Early Access or mobile.
This topic was discussed here:
https://community.simplifimoney.com/discussion/7706/have-a-monthly-display-option-for-longer-date-ranges-in-reports-on-the-web-app-edited#latest
After a moderator posted that "With Enhanced Reports, which… will soon be live for everyone, longer date ranges in reports now have a monthly display option on the Web App!", the discussion was closed. Unfortunately, not only are there no "longer date ranges in reports" now, but the date ranges are actually shorter than they were before. I created this discussion because the previous one was closed.
I would like to request that the system be reverted to the manner in which it operated on April 23. I note that Mint handled this without a problem.
Thank you.

Hello @djweizle,
Thanks for reaching out! We certainly appreciate the feedback regarding the date range in Reports. While it is true that users can only see around 2.5 years at a time, the arrows at the bottom of the graph do allow users to quickly and easily view the later dates in the date range.
If you feel this is something you would like to see changed, I suggest creating an idea post so you and other users can vote for and follow that idea for updates.
Thank you!
