Is it possible to link an account but limit the dates of transactions downloaded?

I have an account that has been manual, but I am considering linking to to the financial institution. All the transactions are already up to date and I don't want to download them again.

I'd like to be able to link the account but limit the initial downloaded transactions to "today and forward" or "such-and-such date and forward." Is that possible?

Thanks for reaching out! There is no way to control the number of transactions we receive or to set the date range for transactions downloaded into Quicken Simplifi at this time.

We do have an existing idea post that would allow users to only download the account balance, so this may be something you would like to vote for and follow for updates:

I would love to do the same if I dare to reconnect my Apple accounts, but I don't think the user has any control. But hope I am wrong.

Most accounts download 90 days, but Apple will download all of them even the ones from before I used Simplifi. I only go back to January 1, 2021. Since, my manual accounts were once connected, maybe it will recognize they've already been downloaded, so I can hope.
