Issues with transactions, recurring, rules, connectivity, and tracking credit card payments (edited)
No trial for this app- so you get to pay for a full year of something that is unusable in the current state - basically to test Beta software for them and pay to do it!
- Mass transactions just disappear- Yes, they were able to be retrieved, but only after being manually re-entered as the developers did not even notify of a problem for a full day almost. Therefore the transactions were then duplicated and had to be manually removed.
- Recurring bills just randomly skip an occurrence- cannot reliably budget or track bills/spending and payments would have been missed except i am still keeping a paper notebook for tracking. Again- complete waste of money if i have to continue to write everything on a calendar every month to not miss a payment.
- Rules NEVER work- Cannot get the transactions to update the name, nor the category. I have deleted and then added them back. Still nothing. Have to manually change all of my bills to the correct category every time.
- Almost no Accounts will sync with Simplifi. Major companies do not work at all. Some even are listed but do not connect.
- Credit Cards- how this works is beyond me- It is impossible to set up where you can see the spending in your reports and track the payments in your checking/savings accounts to pay the bills. It is just a huge confusing mess.
I am at a loss. I have used Quicken products for many years and never anything as half baked as this one. Mint was better than this 10 years ago. And it was free. I guess i will wait it out since i paid a full year, but really wish they would refund my money so i could find something that actually worked.
