Investment dashboard card is not retaining the custom date range set within investment balances
I found what appears to be a bug with the Investment widget on the dashboard.
All of the other widgets allow the selected date or timeframe to persist on the dashboard view. However, the Investment widget keeps reverting back to the default Month view.
Steps to reproduce:
- Open the Investment widget
- Change the timeframe from “Month” to “1 Year”
- Return to the main dashboard/homepage
Expected behavior:
The widget should retain the selected “1 Year” timeframe, just like the other dashboard widgets do.
Actual behavior:
The widget briefly displays the “1 Year” view for a few seconds, then immediately resets itself back to the default Month view.
This behavior is consistent and appears to be a bug specifically affecting the Investment widget’s saved state on the dashboard.
Thanks.

Hello @Manny512,
Thanks for reaching out! I reached out to my product team regarding your post here and confirmed that the Investment Dashboard Card will only ever show a 1-month timeframe, regardless of what you select on the Investments page.
I would suggest creating an idea post requesting that the Investment Dashboard Card be improved to function like the Net Worth Dashboard Card, or something similar. This way, other users could vote for and provide feedback on the feature being requested, and our product team could review it as well.
I hope this helps!
