Projected bank balance does not seem to track recurring income correctly
I'm getting low balance warning notifications for my Bank of America account. When I look into the reason its projecting a future recurring transfer out in few days time, but it NOT taking into account the balance from a recurring income transaction that is already pending but not fully cleared. I suspect this will clean up once the bank balance updates with the added pending income. It just feels that the recurring transactions aren't all being treated equally.

@RobI, thanks for posting!
It sounds like the recurring income item in question is a transaction in the account register, correct? And the transaction is pending? If so, you'd want to use 'Balance with Pending' as the balance setting for the account to count pending transactions toward the balance and, therefore, the "today" balance in Projected Cash Flow.
More details on this can be found under the section titled "What balance does Projected Cash Flow start with?" here:

I already had balance with pending set. Hence the surprising outcome. So unclear why the pending income was not added correctly to the bank account balance.
This morning the account balance has corrected itself since the income is now cleared. All is well.
In retrospect it feels like the notification system is being too aggressive. It made the prediction too early warning of a future balance deficit 6 days out, but which never happened. If it had waited to make the the prediction a day or 2 later the message would never have been sent. Alternatively, it could have sent a less alarming message warning of large outgoing amount in 6 days time.

Thank you for sharing your feedback,
There isn't currently an option to change how many days in advance you receive notifications. If that's something you'd like to see added, I recommend creating an Idea post to request it. Ideas that get enough votes may be implemented in the future! For information on creating an Idea, please review the post below:
Thank you!
