Reports filter not honoring the "Show Excluded in Reports" option (edited)

Tried create a report to show me credit card payments. Since these are transfers, I selected the option to show "Excluded in Reports" I still didn't see them.
LTDR showing Excluded in Reports is being ignored by the filter in spending and spending summary.

It was working during the week. I had a report that had "Show Excluded" checked and saw a greyed out transaction that I have set to hide in reports.

To test it out, I created 4 transactions with a combination of exclusion options:

This is default view just filtering on test Payees

Show Excluded in reports

Show Excluded in Reports and Spending plan

I normally use Safari, but tried in Chrome and mobile and got the same results.

I also tested this on my end and was able to reproduce the same behavior. I'll report this to the appropriate team for further investigation.

Log in to the Quicken Simplifi Web App.
Select the Profile icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.
With the Profile menu open, hold down the Option key (Mac) or the Alt key (Windows), and then click Send Feedback.
Leave all boxes checked, add a brief description of the issue, and then click Send.

It seems that if you mark something as "Excluded from Reports," it really is excluded from reports. The filtering system doesn't override that choice, so it is impossible to get a report showing report-excluded transactions.

Possible solutions would be to (1) allow the filter system to override the transaction's exclusion, or (2) gray out the "Excluded/Not excluded from reports" choice in the Advanced filters when filtering a report. (Graying out those filter choices would make sense because they really don't work as expected in reports).

Still, it would be nice to be able to get a report of those excluded items. Right now the only way I know to do it is to filter a transaction list, export the results, and make your own report from the CSV file.

If your issue is how to include Transfers in Reports, you might be interested in the post linked below. It is now possible to include Transfers in reports, even if they are automatically excluded, by choosing "Show excluded transactions" using the report register settings icon.
