I traded some shares in my Vanguard Brokerage account. The "Sell" and "Buy" transactions are reported correctly in Simplifi, but I do not know how to record the calculated capital gains and include them in the tax report.

The only way I can think of to include investment transactions in reports is to set them as Payment/Deposit types in Quicken Simplifi. Other types of investment transactions can't be included in reports at this time. The following help articles go into more detail.

Thanks, Natalie. I can use the Payment/Deposit work around since I only have a few transactions in my taxable account.
I don't know how this compares to current competitor applications, but the capital gains tracking in Simplifi is underwhelming. (years ago I used the Quicken desktop version which was much more robust)
