Do you mean the new Spending Dashboard Module or Reports?

I compared this August to last August and I see some errors too. I get no expenses for last August in Automobiles (it should be +31 because I had a credit so it ignored the surplus!) or Healthcare ($485).

Edit: @DryHeat makes a good point below but Simplifi should be comparing Aug 01-30, and I did have healthcare transactions in that time period in both 2025 and 2026. So not sure why they aren't being picked up for that category.

Edit 2: The automobile expenses for Aug 2026 are wrong too. Simplifi shows my gas expenses but not my insurance for this month. Only difference I can think of is that insurance is part of a recurring payment. But recurring payments are counted in other categories.

However, it makes no sense that you had NO August expenses at all in 2025.

Are you sure you had transactions for that period? Make sure you are including all your spending accounts!

I'm getting numbers (not zeros) for August 2025 when I choose the Spending menu item pictured below. (Which I guess is called the Spending Dashboard?) I am using "View spend by: Month" and "Compare spend to: Same period last year."

However, the August 2025 numbers don't match my full August 2025 spending that I see on the usual Spending report.

I believe that is because today is Aug 30 and the 2026 figures are from Aug 1-30, not Aug 1-31. So the report uses the 2025 figures for Aug 1-30, not for the full month. I checked a couple of the categories that were off from the full-month spending in the regular Spending report and found that there were transactions on Aug 31 , 2025 that explained the difference.

I figured out that my missing transactions are from recurring incomes that have expense splits. None of them show up in the Spending comparisons: pie charts, grid, etc. but strangely they do show up in the Sankey diagram.
