"Ask AI" should be an optional feature to pay for

flintster_99

hi! just a perhaps contrarian viewpoint. Please make it's inclusion of 'Ask AI' an optional pay-for feature - one which I think you would have zero subscribers of. I don't want a price increase to cover your inference costs because other users won't learn to use (very simple) features.

Thanks!

Voting this one down. AI is very helpful to me, and it's not because I "won't learn to use (very simple) features", which is a rather condescending remark.

This reminds me… there are certain features in Microsoft Word that I don't use but other people do. And vice-versa.

I would like for my features to be the "Standard Word" and for those other people pay extra for the "Enhanced Word" features they use.

But then they would probably like for their features to be the "Standard Word" and thus make me pay extra for mine.

Commercial off-the-shelf software is built to provide for the needs of a diverse group of users in order to bring in more paying customers. It will always have some features that I use and some that I don't. I could ask that Microsoft sell a version with only my features, but I don't think they will.

All right, all right, I apologize... I was in 'a mood' I suppose :) ... I've got chatbot fatigue....
