Add emoji download support when exporting to CSV (edited)

I use emojis to make certain categories stand out from the rest. But when I download a report to a CSV file for use in Excel, the emojis comes down as unintelligible codes. So a category that looks like this in the report:

The emoji text code that appears in the file is ðŸ‘§ðŸ» which isn't very useful visually.

Is there any way to change the way this works? Either to display the emojis correctly or omit them from the download?

Oh, I use emojis too, but have never exported to CSV. I wonder if they revert back if you change the file type from .csv to .xlsx or open it in Google Sheets?

I don't see anything in our knowledge base indicating that emojis are supported during CSV export, so I turned this into an Idea post. An Idea post lets other users vote for your request, which helps our product team gauge how many users are interested.

Changing to .xlsx for Excel doesn't help. Word shows the emojis correctly if you choose Unicode (UTF-8). I don't use Google Sheets so I don't know about that. My concern is really for how to use the exported file in Excel.
