Option to automatically mark transactions as "reviewed" after saving edits (edited)

Is it possible to automatically mark a transaction as reviewed after you edit it or categorize it? Editing it denotes that you have reviewed it. This would remove 1 more click per transaction and make the workflow much more efficient.

While I see the advantage, I'd only want this if it was optional. That's because I use Reviewed to indicate that a transaction doesn't need me to do anything with it. So when I filter by Unreviewed it's kind of like a todo list, and includes things that I ordered but didn't yet get (need to make sure they actually come) and things that may need to be returned etc.

An optional setting could be a helpful way to accommodate different workflows, including those who use the Reviewed status to track transactions that still need attention.

Agree with @EL1234. I’d only want this if it could be turned on/off. I’ll vote for it, but mine would always be turned off. Having this Idea Post implemented, though would be good idea in that it would formalize the setting throughout all of Simplifi. Right now, it seems a bit like the Wild West.

Yep, Ditto the above. I just don't find it that hard to click to mark it reviewed. Review is used by too many people in place of reconciliation feature though I admit that I don't do any sort of reconciliation except when absolutely necessary.

I agree with SRC54 as I use the Reconcile button to mark transactions have have reviewed and reconciled with statements along with a Green flag. The green flag is just another way of searching by either the flag or reconciled.

@SRC54 and @Dick_Davis , even if you wouldn't use this - like me - you might still want to vote it up. Right now, what happens to the Reviewed state (turned on, turned off) is a bit of a mystery. I've seen it marked automatically sometimes and not at other times. It would be nice if they added a setting specifically for this field that might make it more stable. I definitly reconcile acounts and rely on this field to do it.

I think it used to automatically get set when editing a transaction (maybe not inline edits, just in the actual edit window, and maybe also when bulk editing but I don't remember for sure) and they got rid of that because people didn't like it. But a setting could definitely work!
