I have had two technical issues with Quicken Simplifi over the last month, and it's been deeply frustrating that the software engineers (or what ever PM position works with them) cannot use these forums to build their bug reports (and follow up with the people posting on these forums as needed). This seems like a people process issue that doesn't require anything fancy to implement.
As a paying user of Quicken Simplifi, the process to file a bug and track the issue with the technical team is, well, opaque. Although I now know to immediately request a human customer service agent from the AI chatbot, everything disappears into a black box after the chat. I have spent hours trying to document my issues and communicate with the Quicken Simplifi team with unclear results. And no QA salary! Using the chat to submit technical bugs is not a pleasant user experience.
How wonderful it would be if I posted an issue on the forums, follow-up questions are asked (either publicly or directly), the issue is verified by staff (which happens already with the Coaches, I think), and added to the bug backlog. Progress could be tracked/communicated on the forum post.
FWIW, here's the two issues:
This one just cropped up for me, but I can't update the forum (and looks like the last post is a version of my frustration with the reporting bugs process). I've attempted to submit a bug via the chat functionality and been told to wait a few minutes for a follow up email: https://community.simplifimoney.com/discussion/16844/saved-report-names-on-the-right-dont-always-match-the-report-names-listed-across-the-top
