Having the ability to predict account balances with or without non-fixed expenses would be chef's kiss.
Example use cases:
- Considering different loans and their impact on discretionary income each month, not just net worth
- Managing tight budgets, especially those with multiple payment accounts
- Forward-looking annual planning: "if we commit to X on Y date, this is what Z period looks like month-to-month
I could name a thousand others. Currently, my family tracks food under Planned Spending. If you look at Cashflow projections without considering transfers and these food budget allocations, you'd assume there could be a lot more to put away and invest than we have in our Savings Goals.
Having a clearer view projected forward would be highly motivating and keep us pushing for more fun ways to use our income.
Please, please something that solves this. No preference on how.
