NY 529 Aggregator link
The NY 529 account should link to the aggregator access page (https://www.nysaves.org/aggregator ), which has a specific and different login.. Otherwise it keeps going for 2FA.

@mcjerbons Thanks for reporting this! We'll forward this to the team that's keeping our list of financial institutions up to date. We appreciate the feedback!

I second this request. You can access via the direct NY 529 account, but it will cause the account to lock after multiple failed access attempts. Please let us know once this is updated.

Thanks @zosomagnus Our support team is still working on this one. I understand that the URL https://www.nysaves.org/content/home.html is still causing issues with multi-factor authentication. I'll nudge our tech people to see if we can get this moved up the list.

I need this as well. Having to enter 2fa every time is quite annoying

Any updates here? I added my 529 last week and every time I log in it prompts for additional factor authentication before refreshing.0

Hello @htc630,
Thank you for the inquiry, although I apologize that there is still no update to provide on this one, at this time. I will, however, be sure to post back as soon as I hear anything!

I am new to Simplifi but I see this is an old problem that has not been fixed. Will it be fixed soon or should I exercise my 30 day cancellation?

Hello @Coach Natalie - like member @ACW, I'm new to Simplifi as well and seeing that this is a really old problem without any updates.
Technically I can't imagine this to be complex. As the original poster mentioned, the sign-on URL is simply modified to
(a URL specific for aggregator websites) from the current one Simplifi is using. The user themselves provides a different user ID/password (the website allows you to create one).It continues to prompt re-entering 2FA codes on every refresh at the moment, which is very disruptive.
[removed] (via Plaid etc.) don't have this problem.

Thanks for this forum. After reading it, I added the NY 529 account again and it gave me two options with seemingly the same basic url. But the second NY 529 actually led to the aggregator url which worked for me to add without the 2FA cycle.

@skj - thank you for the update. Can you please clarify where/how you were able to access the aggregator URL?
When I search for NY Saves in the "Add Account" screen, it gives me only one option and then prompts me to add my login username & password for the standard URL (
). I don't see any other option or URL.Where did you encounter the second option with the aggregator URL? And did you login in with your general user name and password, or your aggregator-specific user name and password (which the NY Saves website provides you)?

@SidKa I found it by searching for "529" and scrolling through the list until I found the 2nd NY 529 listing:
NY’s 529 College Savings Program
https://www.nysaves.org/nytpl/auth/ll.cs
You'll know it's the right one because the username and password fields it asks for both say "aggregator".

Great, thank you @omega! I found it and working well for me (so far) as well.
Leaving this here for future users who might stumble upon this thread:
When I search for "529" under Add Account, the first hit I get is for "NY's 529 College Savings Program" and further down, there's an entry for "New York 529 College Savings". It's the latter entry that allows me to put in the Aggregator user name and password from the NYSaves website.
