The net income Report graph tells you everything you need to know. It could easily replace income and expenses on the dashboard. To make it so not a single person would complain, allow user customization for the dashboard.

This request is already in review. Vote in that post.

This has been under review since June?? Where is it on the roadmap? Where is the roadmap so we can see what's happening?

I strongly agree with - We want to at minimum be able to delete the ones we don't want to see cluttering up the dashboard and at most to be able to create our own or be able to customize what is already there

After re-reading my above comment - I would like to remove the hokey gimmick comment. sorry. I am these panels are of use to some - but they just clutter my screen, and I would like to be able to hide them like on the mobile app.

Having just moved from Mint I am learning to appreciate some of Simplifi features - like being able to automate adding of manual expenditures thru the recurring option - but ability to customize views allowed on Simplifi is not so good.

This issue was "submitted for review" in June 2023 and since then there has been no feedback. Last month I asked if there was an administrator/moderator that could give an update. Still hearing nothing. The total lack of a response gives me the sense that the ability to post has just been put here to placate us and to make us think we have some input. Obviously we do not.

Not that Quicken is paying attention to these comments, but there are a couple of what seem like simple changes that would make a huge difference. The first would be the ability to hide unwanted tiles. Of the 11 default tiles I only care about 3 of them. Sadly the one tile I care the most about is the Accounts tile which you can't do anything with. Being able to choose the number of columns of tiles displayed, or at least being able to widen the Accounts tile is important. As it is, the Accounts tile is a fixed width, which is super annoying because even if I go full screen, the Accounts tile stays the same width but the other tiles grow in width to fill the space.

Asking again! Is anyone at Quicken monitoring these comments? Just tell if our feedback is pointless so we can stop wasting our time.

I know of at least two quicken employees who monitor this forum, so, yes, @apexfox. However, there are a lot of different opinions about what is important, and also there are limited resources to address all the requests.

I logged into Simplifi for the first time in a while and immediately remembered why I stopped using it when, upon opening the dashboard, I was greeted with a blast of visualizations and information.

As someone who already doesn't enjoy managing finances, having too much data to parse makes an already unpleasant chore even more stressful. I'd LOVE to be able to choose which widgets display on my dashboard so that I can focus on the information that's actually important to me and make informed decisions based on it.

  • We need this customization option in Dashboard. Hide/Remove

Agree, I want to hide several cards, including achievements.

It's been over 4.5 years since the original post. [Removed - Rant]

It has been years. Over 4 months ago I posted:

"Asking again! Is anyone at Quicken monitoring these comments? Just tell if our feedback is pointless so we can stop wasting our time."

I received a response from a "Superuser" (not sure what that means) telling me:

"I know of at least two quicken employees who monitor this forum, so, yes, @apexfox. "

If, in fact two employees monitor this forum, you would think I would get a response from an employee within 4 months. Again, reinforcing the notion that posting is ineffective as a method of communication with Quicken.

I'll be interested to see if this gets flagged as: [Removed - Rant] designation even though it is simply an accurate communication of fact.

I guess the current dashboard is okay, if you're young and have good vision. I have neither youth nor good vision. When the dashboard comes up on my screen I have 27 lines of text in the account column alone. So I have to go through each category, and click to hide the details. This reduces them to 5 lines. But I can't save that layout, so I have to do it every time I come to the web site. Of the 11 permanent widgets, I only need 4. I should be able to hide the other 7, and have them stay hidden. This would give me a clean, easy to read page. Right now it's about 80% useless clutter.

I'm retired. I have no need for a spending plan. So that is useless. My saving goals are to have the savings = 0 when I die. So I don't need a savings goal. Spending categories, all I need are rent and food. I can keep track of them without a widget. I have no need for the spending watchlist. The income and spending graphs are pretty, and I'd keep them if I could get rid of all the stuff listed here. The Achievement widget is absolutely the most stupid thing I have ever seen. It's like you're saying we're 5 year olds who need reinforcement, and you're the patroniziing parent.

  • Yes! Make clean software. Not corporate junk.
