Change "Pending" column to an Icon instead of a Word (edited)

Greetings,

Please consider changing the Pending column to an Icon instead of a Word. Ideally, it would take up about the same space as the "Entry Method" column (red arrow). As is, the Pending column takes up A LOT of horizontal space on smaller computer and tablet screens! The pending status is potentially important info to know so it's good to display it; however, the way it is currently, this column crowds out other equally if not more important information...like Payee and Category.

Yes, I do know about the "Compact" view in the transaction activity register. It just affects the vertical spacing.

Sorry, I just noticed that I added an extra word to the subject; "arrow". I don't care what the icon is. I just don't want it to be a word that takes up at least an inch of screen real estate.

Since pending transactions appear under "Pending" at the very top of the Transactions list, and all "Cleared" transactions move to the main transactions list by date cleared/posted(?), 1.) the Status column seemed to be redundant and 2.) to save space I ended up deselecting this column in the "Settings" (gear icon) menu and gave no more thought to this "issue" until @Coach Natalie brought it forward in the last day or so.

How did I not notice this! I never thought that all the pending is gathered under pending. While I'd personally still like the Pending tag to be an icon to save horizontal space, I do acknowledge that this column is a bit redundant. Thanks for pointing that out!

This need really depends on the screen width. However, perhaps helpful might be the ability to resize the width of columns and/or change the font size.

Currently, there are two related behaviors:

If you squeeze your browser narrower, eventually, the Pending tag changes to a "P," implying that the coding is already partially built in. Obviously, this isn't a solution.
Alternatively, you can reduce the size of everything by Zooming the browser tab window (chrome/edge at least) and all of the columns start showing more letters in each column. Again, this has limited helpfulness.
