Ability to remove 'Related News' from Investments Portfolio

When looking at Investments > Portfolio, there is a column of 'Related News' on the right-hand side. Every article is by The Motley Fool, which pretty much makes it clear this is advertising and not a true offering of helpful investment information from a set of diverse, unaffiliated sources. I do not expect to see advertising in Simplifimoney and if I wanted it I would go back to Mint. I am requesting that I be able to hide Related News, or that Simplifi add value to your product by offering a true investment news clipping service of articles relevant to my investment holdings.

Please consider adding the option to remove the news feed from the Investment / Holdings page. It takes screen space and is not value-add. Thanks.

  • I agree. At least add the ability to shrink the width of the panel. A lot of screen space is consumed by non-relevant information.

The Related News section under Investments if pretty useless and distracting and takes up valuable real estate on mobile devices. Please have the option to remove it.

  • I invest in some dull mutual funds. The latest news articles related to them are dated 2022 and 2023. The News Section is really wasted real estate and I would like to be able to hide, delete or at least squeeze the box down in size. It's been a while since this topic was touched on, so I am bringing it up again in hopes of reviving it.

I sometimes use Simplifi on a laptop with limited screen space. The "Related News" section in Investments takes up so much room that that I can't see gain or daily change columns. The news panel should be removable or collapsible, as it reduces rather than increases the utility of the display.

  • Adding my vote here as well.

The news is at least from multiple sources now but I don't like it taking up space on my screen.

There needs to be a way to either hide/collapse this panel or a preference to disable it.

The news is often out of date or irrelevant. The concept is fine and could add value, but regardless of how good the content is, that portion of the screen needs to be collapsible in order to more easily review the investment information.
