Ability to automatically match and attach receipts (edited)

Create a single location to upload receipts. Once uploaded, use OCR and AI to automatically match and attach the receipt to its corresponding transaction. This is how the receipt upload function works for the Chase Bank app. Amazon Textract is an AI solution for this exact use case.

This would be a phenomenal addition to simplifi! I already use this with some of the businesses that I manage finances for and it is a major time saver. Would love to have it here.

I'm "interested" in this feature, I "might" find a use for it, but I'm not going to vote for it (or against it) because I feel like some of the other requests are more useful and i'd hate to vote to prioritize this at this time.

I would like to see the addition of an attachment library, so you can upload images of receipts at the time of purchase instead of having to keep track of the receipt until the transaction clears.

Adding automatic receipt matching would then be the logical next step. This is similar to what several bank credit cards and corporate expenses programs already do.

i added my vote now, nearly three years after my last comment. The basic features which needed a lot of work back then have all or mostly been addressed. Luxury features like this would be a nice add on.
