Ability to Link Manual Transactions to Recurring Reminders from the Reminder directly (edited)

Greetings,
As best I can tell, there are two separate issues going on here.
In this screenshot, the recurring reminder IS NOT a transfer...
On the recurring reminder (RED X), when I click the three dots and "Link to transaction"...
I get this...
On the manually entered transaction (BLUE CHECK MARK), when I click on three dots and "Link to existing recurring"...
I get this...
I'm essentially doing the exact same action, just from two different starting points; one works, one doesn't. Like I said at the outset, this really seems more like a BUG since - from the users perspective - until you memorize which starting point to always use, you just get confused by a function that intermittently doesn't work.

Was this fixed? I was able to do it today for the first time in ages.

Interesting, I'll have to try - that would be more convenient.

@RobWilk ,
I am curious to know if you find it working too. Unfortunately - maybe fortunately - I don't have any Manual accounts to deal with anymore so I can't test the potential resolution, great job finding that @EL1234 !!!
