Inconsistent Start Day of the Week on Calendar Controls

Some calendar controls are Sunday-first, some are Monday-first (above).
That's bad UX. 1. It's inconsistent with other calendars in the app, 2. the User should be able to change it, and 3. Sunday first is the traditional US standard (it seems I personally only started seeing Monday-first calendars in the past year). As a US user, I've selected the wrong date often because I instinctively expect the second column to be 'Monday'.

Second this, although I personally just want all the calendars to be consistent - I prefer Monday-first even though I'm used to Sunday first. It just makes more sense, particularly in a banking app, to keep the weekends on the same line in the calendar.

The inconsistencies in the "date picker" calendars is a known issue and it is my understanding that the Product Team will be changing the start date to Sundays across the board. We have several discussions on this here in the Community that you can check out for more details:
