@Matt Anfang, if you want to link a new (or re-established) bank connection to an existing account in Quicken Simplifi, the account must be manual: https://support.simplifi.quicken.com/en/articles/5321064-how-to-make-an-account-manual#h_8ccbaa06e5

@Duke0486 excellent find! This worked for me.

@Matt Anfang you don't want to close the existing accounts, just make them manual and then you'll be given the option to link to the manual accounts when you attempt to add the "new" accounts.
