In borkerage accounts, can table display total investment growth/decline, in addition to daily increase/decrease? That would really obviate the need to visit brokerage website to check.

To clarify, have you looked at the Investing: Performance Over Time or Investing: Balance Over Time features? Based on your description, one or both of these additional Investing features should give you what you're looking for.
