Hello! I’m doing my best to dump Banktivity. I’m just starting to play with Simplifi. When I go to my account register i can see upcoming bills. How do I easily post the bill to my account register when I pay it? I don’t see any option on the upcoming transaction to post it. I can link to the biller etc…. I tend to pay everything for the month that isn’t automatic at the beginning of the month.

    Hello @Jksmh2019,

Thanks for posting your inquiry to the Community!

Simplifi is designed to automatically detect transactions that can be linked to your Recurring Reminders at the time of download. Once you've paid a bill, it should only take a max of a couple of days for the transaction to download in Simplifi and get linked to the Reminder. Once linked, the item will show as "Paid".

More details on how this works can be found here: https://help.simplifimoney.com/en/articles/3625912-using-the-recurring-transaction-feature

At this time, there is no ability within Simplifi to mark a Recurring Reminder as "Paid" without having a transaction to link it to. However, this is something our Product Team is considering, so I'd definitely suggest adding your vote and feedback here if this is something you'd like to see in Simplifi.

The other option would be to manually enter the transaction in Simplifi at the time you paid the bill, and then manually link that transaction to the Reminder to show that it's been "paid". However, this adds a lot of manual work for something that can be automatic.

    I hope this helps!
