Enable brokerage accounts to be included in New Worth report
Currently if they are included the transactions in these reports are put into the Uncharacterized category and mess up the spending reports.

Hello @DEA3,
Thanks for posting your suggestion to the Community!
Since the ability to include investment accounts in the Net Worth Report is currently available in Simplifi, I went ahead and marked this request as 'Already Offered'. To include an investment account in the Net Worth Report, you'd want to unignore the account from Reports under the Settings menu.
Based on your description, as well as your other post here, it sounds like you're seeing an issue with Investment Transactions being included in Reports and the Spending Plan, so you've elected to hide the account(s) from Reports. With this, what you're actually looking for is Investment Transactions to be excluded from Reports and the Spending Plan by default. This will allow you to include the account(s) in the Net Worth Report without having the transactions impact your Spending Report or Spending Plan.
With that said, this change is coming very soon to Simplifi! We have an existing request that can be followed here for updates:
In the meantime, instead of hiding the account from Reports, you can edit the Investment Transactions to the proper investing type so they are no longer 'Payment/Deposit', or you can exclude each of the individual Investment Transactions from Reports and/or the Spending Plan.
I hope this helps!

A temporary fix is the also change from UNCATEGORIZED to BALANCE ADJUSTMENT. But now there is a new problem. Until yesterday the Networth report was not including accounts set to EXCLUDED but today it IS including them. Something has changed so please fix. I don,t want to see accounts I have for my grandkids included in my net worth. thanks
