I haven't experienced this. I use Chrome on Android and Simplifi is open 24/7 and never times out. I can't remember the last time I've actually logged in.

Can I ask what browser you use? I know that Firefox has a setting in about:config that can set an automatic timeout.

I’ve never timed it, but I am also automatically timedout on the web app if Simplifi is left idle. I use Chrome and this auto time out happens running on my Windows 10 laptop and on my iPad. I poked around in the menu to see if there is a way to adjust the timing or to turn it off but didn’t find anywhere to customize this timeout. This doesn’t happen with the mobile app. I can open and close the mobile app on my Samsung phone and I remain logged in.

P.S. I opened Simplifi in the Chrome extension which is an instance of the web version. Running Simplifi in the Chrome extension does not do the timeout thing… I stay logged in, it appears, indefinitely.

I am using EDGE as a default -
and it would be nice to determine if it is coming from Simplifi - or the browser (somehow - but not noticed on other websites)

YUP - let the laptop sit idle -
with this forum window (tab) open, along with a window (tab) open for Simplifi - and only Simplifi timed out after 15 mins -

On a Window’s laptop with Chrome browser, there is a timeout although I’ve never timed it - around 15 minutes sounds about right.

To keep it open longer if I’m working on entering receipts in mobile, I’ve found it easy enough to just occasionally press the Refresh button. Has the added bonus of keeping everything synced nicely.

    simple to work around -
if you were told there is an "idle timeout" on the product Signin screen -

Curious, are you using the "keep me signed in" option at login? If not, you're probably concerned about security which is what this is.

I’ve never noticed a ‘Keep Me Logged In’ setting at login - doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist…just that I might be unobservant

it appears that the "Keep Me…" text does indeed keep you from the idle timeout…
Most other websites use that “keep me signed in” text
to merely refer to the saving of signin credentials
and not to an “idle timeout” which is not mentioned.
