Reports->Start Date & End Date

Why can't I manually enter a start and end date. It is very cumbersome to select a date, say way back to 2011, but using the calendar buttons. If I try to enter a date manually, all I see is this:

Clicking either "cancel" or "ok" both take me back to the date selection screen:

That "Ok/Cancel" screen sounds similar to what me and one or two other users saw when manipulating the calendar from a mobile web browser. That was discussed here:

That was supposed to be fixed, if it's the same thing, with 3.91.0 but I see 3.92.0 is the current version and you're reporting something similar.

I don't have an answer as to why or if for sure this is the same thing.
