Income in the Spending Plan (edited)

I get paid on the last day of every month and use that pay for the next month's obligations. How can I show that in the spending plan? It is currently using the income I receive on the last day of a month for that month's expenses.

Is the income the same from month to month? If so, it doesn't matter whether it gets applied to this month or last month. The spending plan does not track balances, it only tracks "for this calendar month" "what did i actually spend" (payments/transfers, for example, don't count) versus "how much income i had this month", so it answers "is my net spending for the month above or below zero".
