Can I delete the credit card payment, or balance adjustment categories?

Greetings! I'm trying to delete the default Credit Card Payment category as I use a different method to categorize credit card payments. Even though I've deleted the default categories and entered custom categories there are still four default categories that show up in the category drop down:

• Balance Adjustment
• Credit Card Payment
• Opening Balance
• Uncategorized

They don't show up in the list of categories under the Categories & Tags list. Is there any way to delete these?

There’s are a number of “System Categories” that you probably won’t be able to delete at all/completely.

Here is an unofficial list that I’ve compiled. Note that there are likely problems with this list.
