Recurring transfers for credit card payments

I am having difficulty getting both sides of recurring transfers for credit card payments to link to the downloaded transactions. The first transaction will post on the credit card side and that side will link automatically. The problem occurs on the bank side when the outgoing funds posts a day or two later. The recurring transaction remains pending and the downloaded transaction will not link to it. I end up having to delete the downloaded transaction and update the pending transaction to cleared. Any suggestions?

    What is the categories for your two transactions? Do you have them set up as Recurring series? Are they listed as a Transfer in your Spending Plan?

    Thanks for the input. I will wait on the next credit card autopay and review both sides of the recurring transfer and downloaded transactions before any editing with Simplifi help desk.
