Searches with multiple filters (edited)

Filter using multiple keywords, for instance, a search that filters by category and tags simultaneously.
I would like also to be able to filter by a certain date interval and at the same time search for a keyword (category, payee, tags).

@under_crtl Thank you for your suggestion! This idea overlaps a bit with some of the other requests we've had for better searches, but it includes some new options as well -- for example, a multilevel search like the ones available in Microsoft Office programs, or direct use of "Boolean operators," like AND, OR and NOT as part of search strings. We appreciate the feedback!
