Ability to create case-sensitive Payee Rules (edited)

Rename rules are not case sensitive but would request that they should be.

Example: Cvs and Usps show up in my transactions. Rules to change to CVS and USPS do not work.

It's a small nit and just my OCD, but seems like a small (and hopefully fixable) bug.

    @Dave L, thanks for posting!

    Would you mind providing more details as to how specifically these Payee Rules don't work, i.e. are past transactions not identified, are the Rules not applied to transactions when they're downloaded, etc., so we can get a clear picture of what's going on?

    @Coach Natalie Here's an example:

    • Recent transaction listed Cvs as the vendor.
    • I changed to CVS (all caps)
    • I set rule that searched for "cvs" to set vendor to CVS
    • Prior items that contained "cvs" remained
    • Older instanced did not get updated.

    Same exact thing happened when trying to use rule to change "Usps" to "USPS"

    Only way I can get to work is to make a more dramatic name change, such as "Cvs" to "CVS/Pharmacy"

    @Dave L, thanks for confirming!

    I went ahead and turned this into an Idea post requesting the ability to create case-sensitive Payee Rules so other users can vote on it and we can get an idea of how many users would like to see this feature added to Quicken Simplifi.

    I hope this helps!
