Payee Truncation and Management
It appears to me that if Simplifi Finds www anywhere on the card payee description it makes the payee Www on Simplifi. Adding a payee rule is a can fix this issue but I messed up big time happy clicking a new payee rule. I noticed a Www payee in a transaction, looked it up on the credit card and saw it was the Gainesville eye doctor. I jumped into creating my first payee rule and changed 70 WWW to Gainesville eye. I only have 2 or 3 of the 70 that were really gainesville eye. I ended looking all the Gainesville eye on the credit card to find what followed the WWW and make a rule for each vendor with WWW in the description. The fact I have imported several thousands transactions form Mint compounded my mistake. I do think developers might want to look at the rules that truncate the payee. I did not know it at the time but all I had to do was click on the transaction and it shows the full description of the payee at the top. Going back to the card was not necessary
