How do I filter to ONLY the top level category in the Transactions screen?

As an example, I have the top-level category "Shopping" and then that has underlying sub-categories, "Clothing" "Shoes" "Books" "Hobbies" etc. I'm on the 'Transactions' screen and I want to filter down to only transactions that have exactly the top-level category of "Shopping" and not ones that have all the categories underneath. Like how do I say I want to see all the transactions where category = "Shopping" exactly and not everything in the shopping umbrella?
