Splitting recurring bills where I receive money back from friends

Hi,

I share my AT&T family plan phone bill with 2 others. I usually pay the whole bill of $300 with my credit card. My share is $100. The rest will be reimbursed by my friends via Apple Pay or Zelle every month. I don’t want the $200 of my friend’s expenses to count towards my spending plan as they will be reimbursed. Currently, I categorize the payments received as phone bill so they get grouped in the same category.

Is there a better way?

How do I set up a recurring bill that splits this transaction and automatically links their payment as well ?

Recurring transactions currently do not support splits, I believe there are idea post(s) for that which can be voted on.
