Why are Payees being truncated? Can Simplifi use the full "Appears as" as the Payee?

An example, my water bill just shows as "Se", while the detail page shows the full correct Payee:

Costco is another example:

What's happening here? Is there a way to train Simplifi to use full "Appears as"? Is there a better solution?
